Searched Google Trends for "purebasic" keyword:
How do you think, does it indicate loss of interest for PB and if so, why?

If you type programming or computer you'll get the same curve as well.
I think everything computer related has just gone down over the years.

"golang" (Google Go), "Kotlin", "Haxe", "Objective-C", "Python", "Xamarin" show higher curves.
Compare with "Whatsapp", "Facebook". More billion people entered the web within the last 10 years,
most of them not being interested in programming. It may be the reason for programming topics
in general get searched less, compared to all Google searches.
PYPL PopularitY of Programming Language index
Why is Java so flat in PYPL's diagram, while it is going down in Google Trends over 5 years ?
That's because Google Trends diagrams show how the total number of Java tutorial searches varies over time.
That has been going significantly down for most programming languages (and most keywords, by the way).
Instead, PYPL's diagram shows the share of Java tutorial searches in all language tutorial searches.
That share has been fairly stable for Java since 2004.
Curve for numbers of PureBasic sales would be a better indicator. Should be an upward curve.
