If you have a developer account, you'll be glad to know that PureBasic works just fine on it. You just have to install the 10.10 command line tools.

Swift looks pretty nice, although with some odd quirks. Almost makes me wish I had a Mac to test it with.

To me it looks much better than Objective-C.
It is more Haxe/ActionScript/JavaScript/ECMAScript style.

Yeah, actionscript/javascript was the first thing that came to mind for me. I've never used or seen the other two.
