[Done] Form Designer Has Only Alpha Quality

Lost several hours of work because of form designer crashes.
(the crash notification that lists former versions of a file does not list designer files)
This is really disappointing!

Have a splitter on a panelgadget on tab 2.
Now adding a 3rd tab to the panel is not working, all gadgets are drawn on tab 2 instead of tab 3 of the panel.
Actually they are listed as children of the splitter
I can assign the proper parent and move them to the 3rd tab of the panel, but if I close the file (and even confirm with a different editor that all looks ok) the gadgets are assigned to the splitter again as soon the pbf file is loaded with the PB Designer.
This means that from now on I have to rename the form file to pbi and edit/add gadgets manually.
DO NOT USE THIS DESIGNER FOR SERIOUS WORK
You have been warned...

Your comments are useless unless you provide a clear way to reproduce the bugs.

PB 5.21/5.22 I have never had a crash in the form designer. Of course it is evolving, so any faults or enhancements need to be carefully and fully described.

The formdesigner overwrites the source after any change. This is not a problem, if i can create all types of Gadgets, but in the moment,
there is no scintilla-gadget, no user-defined Gadget. This make the formdesigner useless for all my purpose.
I hope, there come some changes in the future

I agree with Ideasvacuum
No crash for a while. On both Win and Mac OS.
And as far as i remember, Polo never said it was perfect. So just save your source often. Just like with Word, LOL.

And in my case this is the problem, as the designer does not use the compilers parser...
In my case I can add new gadgets to the 3rd panel item and every time the designer saves the code, he moves these gadgets before the 3rd panel item is created.
To top it off the designer tells me the splittergadget is the parent of these gadgets (the splitter is the last gadget on the 2nd panel item).
If I change it manually the designer changes it back to the wrong state when saved.

I know how much work, sweat and tears must have gone into this project already.
So if I hurt your feelings: I do apologize for that.
Was just stating what I observed while working with the designer.
