Any ideas when the form designer will support dialogs?

Hi,
the layout management of the Dialog library is very cool

It would be nice if the form designer could handle that, too.
Do you have any ideas when it could become true?
Best regards
Uwe

I wanted to do it at some point, although I've got very little time due to work

The form designer is an important part of Purebasic. I just do not use it at the moment, because of the missing layout control. Nowadays, a lot of users have their own font settings or even custom themes and static GUI's become ugly in that case. With implementing the dialog features into your form designer, it would be possible to build more professional GUI's. I can imagine that it is hard work

I know, I'm still working on it but at a slow pace, as I need to focus on the job that's making me earn money unfortunately

Hi Polo,
Your work is much appreciated. Thank you.
I'm sure we can wait, after all work is essential.

This is what happened when Berikco was doing the official form designer.
He would make posts that he didn't have time; then one day it was over.

Polo is not alone responsible for enhancing the form designer,
there is a company behind the commercial product 'PureBasic'.
They could do it as well. At least I hope so...

Well, when he makes posts that he doesn't have time, what
else are we supposed to conclude from that? I hope too that
he isn't the only developer on it.

I'm not the only one working on it, and I'm still working on it, don't worry.

Hi
If there was one feature that I would like improved in Purebasic it would be the form designer. I appreciate the work put into it so far but there is a lot more to do to make it a really useful tool. It needs to handle a much wider range of properties and events and if modules were used there could a standardized set of event names created so that you did not have to prefix events with the window name etc.
I know in some other projects they offer what are called sponsored features. These are features that users would sponsor by paying for their development. I for one would consider helping in such a way as there are several features I would like to see improved or added.

You surely can do that if there's one specific thing you have in mind and that Fred & fr3ak are happy with the feature
