i hesitate to post this link, since it is about disgusting food like rats and insects and more, so i put the link attached to one letter somewhere in this message

Yummy! Some people eat frogs.

I don't understand why you don't really want to link to that article because "disgusting" is relative. I never ate rats, snakes, dogs, insects or whatever but I'm pretty sure that other cultures look down on "us westerners" too for eating pigs, cows etc.

It's not that disturbing / disgusting. I probably wouldn't eat worms / insects, but
dog / rat / snake would be totally fine for me if it's cooked well (i.e. at a "good" restaurant).
I bet if you get it served you can't even taste that it's something like that.

Actually, recently I tried frogs. It tastes like chicken.

To me, it depends on whether the animal being eaten has any actual
true nutritional value or need, or whether it's just being eaten based
on beliefs. Eating out of pure belief alone is disgusting and barbaric.

So, I don't think it's disgusting if someone is eating bugs to survive,
but if they're eating bugs because of a game show (Survivor) then
the person is disgusting and barbaric. IMHO.

I like more the famous one with the cat and the police dogs (not sure about the police part, maybe simply german shepards )
