Last time i tried i missed some things, i'm not sure if are already included:
- make optional the case change when you type a keyword or when you load a .pb file, not everyone likes capitals. i always use lowercase.
- put a margin on the left of the rich edit
- remember all the working envirorment, all the files loaded

a) Hmm, what you what?
That "EndIf" should always formated as "endif"?
open the "syntax highlightning.pb" and search the
line "WordStart$ = BasicKeyword$" and replace it with "WordStart$ = lcase(BasicKeyword$)"
Ready.
b) Allready done in my mod (and it is planed in the feature versions)
c) Allready done in my mod (active the Filelist in the preference and you must save a filelist, before you close the editor)

Thanks, i'll try it.
what i meant in option a) is to let the programmer choose the case, don't touch it, and of course don't change the case when loading a .pb file.
let me type Endif, endIf , endif, ENDIF or whatever.

will try it, how about puting this as an option in your editor?
a checkbox 'change case' somewhere.
Another thing i noticed in the official editor is that when you resize something the background turns gray, very ugly. i think is because the window background is being redrawn, if the controls cover the whole window there is no need to redraw the background, you can get rid of that returning 0 in the WM_ERASEBKGND msg in the window callback, i use it in my apps.
maybe you could try it too, i'm not familiar with the source, i had troubles compiling it.

Check the "Win 9x-destroyed window fix" in the Preferences and the Window should redraw. If not, please tell me, what exact you have done.
btw: the Purebasic_IDE is the main-file and read the ReadMe.txt for all changes.
Funny fact: I work on a method, that the editor automatic format all constants, functions, variables, structures. (It worked, but i must do some stuff first...)
