Yep, I remember a lot of them. Used the VIC20 and C64 a lot.
It's where I started programming. Great times. Awesome times.

Nope! Those funny little desk calculators were all 20 years after my time. :)

This is the sort of stuff I remember most: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/computinghistory/1965.html

Boris, if that's for real and not a joke, perhaps you'd be interested in some of these simulators http://simh.trailing-edge.com/links.html

I have owned two of the ones shown in the link posted by IdeasVacuum.

My first computer was the Radio Shack TRS-80 model III.
#2 was Commodore VIC-20
#3 was Commodore 128 ; not one listed but should have been.
#4 IBM XT ; not listed, my first computer with a hard drive.
#5 Zenith Data Systems laptop ; not listed, my first windows computer, I think it was windows 3.1.

Commodore PET 4032. Really good computer for the day. It used a tape drive that took standard audio tapes.

Yup. Mine looked like the ZWL-184-97 shown here.
http://www.obsoletecomputermuseum.org/zenith_l/

It was the worst computer I've ever owned.
It was DOA when I received it and after a very long wait was finally replaced by the manufacturer.
The LCD display was very poor contrast and only had gray scale graphics.
It wasn't long before the power supply died and I repaired that myself.
After a year or so the motherboard died and I had to junk it.

The only good thing about it I can think of is if you held it in your lap on a cold winter night
it would keep you nice and warm.

I wrote my first "program" on a C64  If you could call it that.

I have many fond memories of it, but I mainly used it for the limited selection of games I had gotten from a friend.
