Likely, you can do everything with shaders that support OGRE.

And I´m pretty sure there is a possibility to make projective decals without any Installation from PB-side.

projective decals heavily needed in our lighting software actually developed in native OpenGL that we want to port to OGRE.

Yes, support for decals in general is extremely useful. Projective decals and mesh decals have just too many applications in games or any 3D software so it would be nice to have easy way using them. Thanks!
