Can anyone tell me if the above two bugs are present in Mavericks too ?

I suppose the answer is yes, but who knows.
I would upgrade to it just for that if this were not the case, else I'm not in a hurry.

Hi Luis!

I'd suggest waiting on Mavericks. There seem to be several odd reports of things not working. My TimeMachine is somewhat broken (I CAN get it to work - it didn't erase my WD drive) and the wifi is a bit random. Mail seems to be fixed after the last upgrade. I have also reported 'fuzzy fonts' with some of the gadgets using a Retina display.

Give it a few more weeks ;-)

Mavericks is running OK here in normal use (MacBook Pro June 2012)
The only issue I had was while verifying an external SSD right after partitioning it.
MacOS crashed. (text showed up in 5 different languages...)

What amazed me was that even the "light-grey screen of death" looks awesome by design.

The IDE has more such update problems, see PB520 x64 - Various IDE problems.
