Hi there folk!
I'm running Ubuntu Linux on my laptop, and I've been trying to get both the x64 and x86 builds of PureBasic 5.2 to work. The x64 build was no trouble at all, I installed the dependencies and everything worked just fine. x86, on the other hand, is causing me quite some trouble.
The IDE runs fine, no errors, no crashes. The linker however, is outputting a huge error regarding compatibility of architectures in libraries.
I've attached a screenshot of the error, considering I cannot copy the contents of this dialog to text.

Does anyone know how to fix this, so I can build x86 projects on Ubuntu 12.04 x64 as well?
Cheers!!

Re: PureBasic 5.2 x86 on Ubuntu 12.04 x64
Hi Crusiatus Black,
I had the same problem a while ago.
Trouble is, that the linker always uses the libs for 64bit. This is why the compiler complains so much.
The only and probably easiest solution I found is to set up a virtual machine with a 32bit Linux and compile the stuff there.
Have a nice day

Hi Gerd,
Thanks for the reply. That's too bad, I'll have to solve it that way then! Thanks for the tip.
