Picogram - Organic Molecule Drawing Software

Hello everyone!
Just something I've been working on recently, it's a program for drawing pictures of organic hydrocarbons.
I've tried to make things as easy to use as possible, all the things you need are in the toolbox just click on the pictures.
You can save and load your creations (there's some files in the archive) or take a snapshot and save it as a bitmap.
Nothing fancy yet, there's no sanity checking on the molecules as you make them.
There's a few keyboard shortcuts to make things easier:
Here's the link.
Enjoy!
I'd appreciate any comments, criticisms or suggestions.
By the way it runs really slowly on Linux with extreme mouse lag, any ideas on what could be causing this?

There's a few keyboard shortcuts to make things easier:
- Select atoms by pressing the first letter of their name (Chlorine has a compromise of 'L').
- Select a bond by hitting space, with a bond selected it will be flipped.
- Bonds can also be rotated at 45 degree angles using the left and right arrows.
- Use the numbers 1,2,3 to make the current bond single, double or triple respectively.
