Hi all,

I have just downloaded and installed the Linux version of purebasic.
I followed the install instructions and all went well.
I was expecting something a bit like VB but I could not launch an editor, I only had a command line util called pbcompiler. All the website screenshots show a IDE/editor type enviroment.
After browsing the PB site I downloaded some files called 'PureBasic Editor 3.51' as these seemed to be what I need
BUT
how and what do I do to these file in order to get the IDE/editor enviroment working,
or am I on completely the wrong track

Actually, there is no IDE for the linux version, just a straight compiler as its usual on linux. You can of course interface it very easely with any programming tool like KDevelop, glimmer etc.. An IDE will be developped later.

What if you were to design your forms in windows PB, and copy the source over to Linux? You might have to change some of the commands that are not compatable in Linux. But this might work.
