I wish the PB editor would disable syntax highlighting, folding, auto-capitalization and saving of compiler settings to the file for files that don't have .pb, .pbi or .pbf suffix so that the editor could be used to edit plain text files as well.

+1... with the option to disable syntax highlighting on individual files, or a dialog box asking when opening a file with a non-standard PB extension.
