Another idea is that they remember how to spell out the name of the language when they talk about it instead of use nicknames for it.

Could be wrong but I think PureBasic tends to be abbreviated to PB in a lot of posts. That may well be true for Power Basic too, so the search results are not so meaningful.

And last but not least:PB stands for lot of stuffs like: Packard Bell, etc
