Someone is hacking our forum and adding spam links to legitimate users' posts. How to defend against it?

Here's a screenshot from the posted link. Someone has hacked in and changed the word 'work' in sveinung's post to a spam link. There's another one in the word 'win' in rsts's post.

Interesting. I don't see it, maybe depends on the board style ?
I'm using subsilver2.

I cannot see any such links when I click on the url presented on your original post.

I hope is not something on your pc netmaestro, filtering the contents for hot words and changing the html in real time.

Doing a system restore to last week, I'll let you know if it solves it. Could be just me.

Sounds like local malware. I had the same thing several years ago.
Example removal procedures...

That's why I told him to try with another browser first, but he's probably run to do a restore

I must've had a malware infection, after the system restore the links no longer appear.

You just thrown away a 8000$/month additional income though

Thats a browser plugin (malware), check your Addons and Plugins for FireFix/Chrome...
In most cases the plugin have something todo with video...

They call this adware (advertising malware), its safe to run its just annoying and hinders your browsing experience and performance. I would suggest looking through your add/remove applications for anything fishy such as toolbars etc that you never use. Also download Malwarebytes and scan your machine once a week to ensure you're clean.
