Hi,

Is there an example somewhere for an image browser?. I am thinking on writing something and I wonder if it is possible with PB.

What you mean with image browser? Look for files in a directory that are jpg/png/gif and show thumbnails?

I was thinking about splitting the screen into two. On the left side to show all the folder thumbnails and in the right side the chosen image.

You could look at the canvas gadget demo program.
This can be found in PB help.
