5.10 final - IDE slow to open and close

Opening and closing the IDE takes a very long time compared to 5.0 for example (one or two seconds longer, which isn't much but still very noticeable). The tabs seem to appear/disappear one at a time, whereas opening or closing the 5.0 IDE was more or less instantaneous.

Disable Session History in Preferences and try again.
I see no difference from v5 to v5.1. in this mode

I think you're right, since everything works correctly, albeit slowly.

Unfortunately this made no difference.

I forgot to mention I am not using projects.
I do keep 10 - 15 files actively loaded in the IDE and true, the startup is visible but has not changed from v5 to v5.10.
