Hi there,

It's probably the last 5.10 beta, we expect the final to be out very soon ! So if you find some major issues, don't hesitate to report it in the appropriate bug forums.

Have fun !

Thanks a lot :D
About the installation process, I don't know if it's right or not but it's written in the terms and conditions :
...The demo version of this programme may be freely distributed provided all
contents, of the original archive, remain intact...
* Demo version ?
* programme is French, maybe "software" should be correct ?

Hope I'm not making a mistake :)

'programme' is a perfectly legitimate alternate spelling for 'program'. It's commonly used in the UK and British Commonwealth, while 'program' is (much) more common in the US. But either one is fine.

This actually isn't one of the cases of Fred butchering the english language :lol:

Should then be replaced by program. :P It reminds me of the time when commands like
FrontColor() were actually spelled like FrontColour(). :? :mrgreen:

@Shield:
Not that I'd wish to start a flame wars or anything (and being french myself I'm not entitled to say anything about it either) but please, pray tell me why you think that US spelling or habits should have preseance over english ones? Hmm? :P

@Fred and the PB team:
Jolly good show, ol' chaps! Top notch work, as always; Have a cup of tea and a scone on me... :wink:

Speaking entirely personally - I really love the occasional slight mangling of English by Fred (and team maybe?). As far as I'm concerned it would be a sad day when the Help and other stuff are 100% correct in that respect. Everything can be understood with no problem and as a bonus sometimes I find a phrase that makes me smile - can almost hear that French accent! :) Not only great software, but even has "character" 8) Folks working in a non-native language deserve total respect. (sorry - bit off-topic!!)

More on-topic - all current projects compiled with 5.10 B6 Winx86. Looking good !!

Apart from personal preferences (and no, I am not American), it is the de-facto standard for computer related topics
and even more for programming languages. Using British English for commands just feels odd to me.

Don't get me started on French...eight years of studying with no results were enough. :mrgreen:
