Can someone explain how to capture the output from an external program run from a purebasic program.
For example capture the output of compiler, tool, ping command etc.
Thanks

If you try "Capture OutPut" in the search you can find all the solutions that was given to different situations, like El_Choni's lib. CGI that could help you.

BTW, I hope I will be able to take a look at the thing this weekend, but if you haven't achieved it, I don't know if I'll be able to do so. IIRC, you posted and example long ago of capturing program's output, didn't you?

Hi
The link supplied by Rings was perfect, Thanks.
I'm not sure why the search kept comming up with no results, It was even doing it if I put in the word Purebasic or and.
Not to worry it all seems to be working now ...
I amazes me how fast you peoples respond to the posts on this forum, its as if you sit and monitor them all day.
Your all a great help to each other.
