Is it possible to make Network programmes which use IPX instead of TCP/IP?
Is there a library for this?
Thanks for any help, merendo

No there is no known library for that. But of course IPX is not up to date for network-programming and there is no easy interface like the TCPIP one.
But also if there is a DLL which handles the IPX-Protocoll you can use it with Purebasic.I did not known any.....
Its a long way to the top if you wanna .....CodeGuru

Well, I know IPX is very old but as far as I know its a little bit faster than TCP/IP.
And many games still use it like StarCraft... Even games which are very new are often compatible to IPX.
Does anybody know where to find a Dll which allows to use IPX? I have not found any commands for IPX in my API-Lib (AllAPI API-Guide).
