It could be very nice if everyone links to pages or photos of their towns/cities and tell us something about.
MY TOWN:
San Bernardo.
5,000 people live here, is very small town in the atlantic coast of argentina.
Its very secure, have nice beaches (i live one block from the beach), has veeery nice girls, we receive some tourism but San Bernardo isnt very important destination here because we are small town but however we have a lot of business and something like 300,000 visitors during summer (a lot for 5,000 estable poblation!!)
Now is summer here an we can swim at the beach or take sun or watch the better thing that this country have (the girls, because politicans are the bad ones!!).
This are two links that show some pics of this small town.
http://www.sanbernardonet.com/galeria.asp
http://www.sanbernardonet.com/galeria2.asp
Most people in argentina are descendents from Italians but there are some towns (like my wife's one
http://www.elsitiodelavilla.com/oktober ... agenes.htm
http://www.elsitiodelavilla.com/municip ... enes_2.htm)
that are most germans and some others towns are ppl from russia, spain, etc.
Here San Bernardo is Italian ppl but i dont know italian ha ha.
We have one small university here and a big city (400,000 ppl) at 140 kms so some ppl goes there to study.
I love to live here because its a good place to have your family, its peacefull, secure... and have some action, business, casinos, beaches, sun, etc.
However we are just trying to get out of an economical crisis that was so deep the last year. Thanks God this summer was very good and everything seams to be okay now.
I hope some one else show they towns and say something about there.
Best Regards
Ricardo

Very nice Ricardo,
I don't think of my home area as very interesting to anyone but me... but I guess 'my' area is different if you live in another country.
Thanks for posting the web pages... the girls ARE pretty!
PS - Here's two pages I found....
#1 - http://www.travel.bc.ca/ (General tourism)
#2 - http://www.tourism.nanaimo.bc.ca
Couldn't find any girls...but I'm looking!

Its in Belgium? Im a little ignorant but i dont know much about Belgium, why dont you say a little about your country and your town/region.
I still think that you are a lucky guy, the main reason is an adorable family.
I feel a lucky guy too for the same reason, im so happy with my family (one baby of 5 month and one girl 2 years old) a great wife too.

Nice thread!
I live in a small (??? - about 5900 people live here - more than in Ricardo's town) village in Germany near Netherlands' border (about 20 km).

This is the "official" Homepage of our village. Not much - but better than nothing
If you speak German you could also have a look at http://www.lingen.de. This is a nice town near Lohne (about 8 km). Sooner or later I will move to Lingen.
