PB5.00
If you check the Compiler option 'Use Icon', that works fine. If you un-check the option, the icon is still used.
(This can be remedied by manually editing the PB IDE postfix to the file in a text editor)

I was wondering if the IDE could be improved in order to accept more than just .ICO files, such as BMP and PNG?
Thanks!
Kind regards,

If you search the forum, you will find code that creates .ico from .png files

Why can't the IDE do that itself?
Kind regards,

...you do mean the icon for the executable, right?
It is something that could be done (Compiler conversion of, say, png to ico) but why? Better to use an app dedicated to that task so you have control of the sizes included, quality etc.
