You've been around here for over a year and don't know?
Go somewhere else and troll.

PureBasic is the best cross-platform basic compiler that money can buy. Either buy it, or go use some open source stuff.

Send Fred a private message. Ordering 1 license of PureBasic is not that hard.
Think about what you are asking?
If you use another development language, but still want to create dll's in PureBasic, what is stopping you from writing them in the other tool?

You've been trolling ever since you joined. You've yet to make a meaningful post. Most are to satisfy your own ego or an attempt to stir something up.
Try another basic forum, or maybe grow up.

Nobody hates their potential customer
Yes, the RealBasic thread you opened was locked and I cannot comment on that.
But here, you answered your own question...RealBasic costs much much more than PureBasic.
It's up to you to determine why.
This forum is largely for coders who have already chosen PureBasic or are seriously considering it.
You seem to be taking much longer than most to decide

Hi Primoz128. Most of these development tools have trial versions that are fully functional, more or less. It would be best to give them a try before you can really make any decisions. From your posts, it seems that you may be more inclined towards Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools, but these usually have some trade-offs. For one, they're usually pricier, and for another, they don't usually produce optimised code. The compiled executables tend to be quite bloated, and they require one or more dependables to function. Furthermore, RAD tools tend to be more limited in their functionalities and have much less flexibility.
It's no use to try and sell the power of PureBasic to you if it doesn't suit your needs. Although it can also be considered a RAD tool with its Visual Designer, PureBasic is still a code-oriented language, albeit one with great flexibility and virtually limitless potential, producing fast and small executables. Plus, it's cross-platform and highly affordable.
In my opinion, it's easily one of the best development tools available today. But like I said, you'll have to find the one that suits you.

I know that PB is amazing, ill let the time tell what i prefer better.
Not all RAD tools need dependencies from windows... i think that's what you said, this one tends to be large in filesize so that it carries everything it needs with it.
You know what ? Im very interested how many copies of PB Fred has sold in total...

As far as you are respecting the rules for compiling DLL's with PureBasic (
http://www.purebasic.com/faq.php, 6th point), you can do very good DLL's. We are using it for our SDK (some crypto and networking service) and we compile the source to .dll, .so and .dylib. Obviously we need some CompilerIf stuff to handle the OS differences but it works great and DLL compiling with PureBasic is easy.
