I lost my copy of purebasic (I did buy it and have the serial no.) I just forgot were I downloaded it from. Is there a place to download it or do I have to contact support?
Thanks,
Stede

Same here.
I didn't receive any serial number either.
Maybe just a try to get a copy without buying it ?

There is no serial number system. Each copy of PureBasic has a Keyfile with it, which allows you to install the Updates.
Fred also keeps your Ordering Information, so if you have any trouble, contact him at the above Address.

Hi Freak !
You speak about a KeyFile in PB. But, is this key in .exe you create with PB ?

No, if you look in your PureBasic\Compilers Directory, you'll find a file called 'DataKey'
If you remove that, you won't be able to update PB any more.
There is nothing stored in the Executables you create to identify you, or your copy of PB.
(However Fred once said, that the Exes are still easy to identify as PB Executables)
Hope this clears it up a bit...
