remember the old
gianna sisters
a retro plattform jump&run game like Super Mario ?
The former members did a remake. But not only a simple one, very complex
and very nice to
watch(Gameplay on Youtube) and play.
The Music comes from legendary Chris Huelsbeck &
Machinae Supremacy
A playable
demo can be download here,
you can
support the gianna sisters on kickstarter with a few bucks.

Nice looking game Rings. Haven't seen one like that for so very long.

The remake is a little too much in overdrive mode for me, but it's certainly impressive.
The music was and is breathtaking. Incredible mixing in this one depending on the actions if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks for the heads up!

I never played Giana, but the game does indeed look pretty nice.
If you're looking for another great platformer, check out Rayman Origins.

However, it's not an indie game, so not so much magic about that game.

I like the look of the game, but it does seem to be a little over the top... and as much as I LOVE Machinae Supremacy, I found the music changing as it did so frequently rather annoying... The whole game seems to need toning down a bit imho.

Yes, you'll be able to set in the options menu whether you prefer to hear Chris Hülsbeck's tracks, Machinae Supremacy's, or both. Please note that the music and transitions are still a work in progress. The transitions are currently at an early stage and will be significantly smoother in the final game.

@nco2k its not just the music

not that I am saying the game will be crap... I am just saying there is to much going on

but that is just my personal opinion, and everybody is entitled to have an opinion

I love it.
I allready own 1 copy for each system the original was released on: C64, Amiga and Atari ST. Plus Giana Sisters (DS) on iPhone.
Glad they got enough money. It didnt looked good a week ago.
