Anyone know how to remove or grey out the Apple preference menu?

I am using Mountain Lion and the Latest Beta.

I don't know how to remove this item (not sure it's possible, as it's a default menu)
To grey out items of this menu, you have to :

create a menu, then use specifics constants with MenuItem, like this :

If CreateMenu(#PB_Any,WindowID(window_0))
  MenuItem(#PB_Menu_About,"")
  MenuItem(#PB_Menu_Preferences,"")
EndIf

assuming window_0 is the handle of your window

You will see that the About.... item and the Preferences... item won't be grey anymore.

Note : these constants are not referenced in OS X version help of PB 5 beta, but there are in Windows version (!)
