Hi all!
I'm sure moste of you already know, but I thought this might be a day for a reminder.
For all those of you who are into game programming:
http://opengameart.org/
2D, 3D, Backgrounds and SoundFX, licensed under GPL/Creative Commons and similar.
I hope some might find it useful. Have a great day!

I totally forgot this site existed. Although I admit some of the stuff I looked at in the past seemed kind of cheesey/inferior, its good to be able to browse through things again.
Thanks

Thanks for the tip, I didn't know about this site.
Although I need to read more about the licenses... apparently if you use CC-SA artwork then your whole project needs to be released as CC-SA too?

I guess not, if you don't add the images as datablocks.
If you just put them into your game folder, load and display them without actually altering them, there should be no problem.
Put the license into the directory as well and there you go...
I also gotta check this.
