PureBasic and Windows 8

Will it be possible to code for Windows 8 with PureBasic?

Yes, I've tried my applications and compiled successfully on 8. Then I uninstalled 8 as I can't stand the new start metro thing...

Is a special programming language ordered by M$ ? I dont think so...

yes microsoft made his own c++ implementation called C++/CX and winrt is fully oop. using winrt with a non oop language
like C will cause mess and work overload.

That's good news :)

I haven't tried 8 yet, so I don't know what a Metro styled app is, I only want to
know if I can create apps people can use on 8 with PureBasic.

Yes, the standard Windows API still remains in tact. All your applications that work on Windows 7 will compile and work on Windows 8.

PB looks very good and run fine on Windows 8! Thanks Fred and the Team for the good work!!
Many Gadgets still look better than on Windows 7.

I installed Windows 8, after 1 week I had to uninstall, I just do not like it at all.

PureBasic works perfectly on Windows 8
