This fan-made game was finally released, 10 years after it was announced.

It is a really nice game and pretty fun to play, and I'm sure the WC vets that may be here will like it a lot. It's got full voice acting and rendered cut-scenes as well. Very good graphical quality (modified Freespace 2 Engine). It's a couple GB to download but really nice example of what amateurs can accomplish.

It definitely feels like a commercial product - and its completely free.

I liked the series a lot.

I just finished the game, it was an awesome experience and I can't compliment the people behind it enough.

After the disappointing piece of shit ending to Mass Effect 3, this game really made me feel good when I finished it.
