Hi there,

I'd like to (proudly) announce the 4th App made with PureBasic, which sells in the Mac App Store.
You will find some information (in German) on this page: http://www.quadworks.de/software/

Apps - all go for 0,79 € or 0,99 $
DropMeFTP - A small FTP client for batch uploading, zipping, bit.ly-ing in one (drag and) drop.
ShowIP - Displays your local and remote IP inside the OS X-menubar.
SpeakToMe - Use the speech synth of Mac OS X (tested with Lion) to read a text, or export to file.
WebCamAddict - Show different Webcams from around the world (10 included), and edit the list.

I added an English translation by Yahoo Babelfish for your convenience :-)

All Apps set up in the Mac App Store were coded using PureBasic.
If someone loves  to blog about one of these Apps, please contact me to get a free copy. Please tell me, where you like to publish.

Out of interested: Does it work? I mean do you get serious income from it?

0.42€ to 0.52€ per sell doesn't sound like much to me. And isn't it that you first have to invest $100 for a Developer's Account as well?

I'm just curious if it actually works for those who didn't create the next million-selling Angry Birds-hype thingy... at least I guess that's the case for you, correct me if I'm wrong.

No, it does not. Not enough for a living. But after all, it's all in the PR. Coding doesn't matter, f***ing PR does. :-) And being well-funded, of course.

Let's put it this way: If Apple sees your Apps, you may get rich fast. If not, you have to return to your office tomorrow ...
I started developing Software (they call it App now) in 2009 with an iPod Touch 1st gen. Until now, I paid about as much for hardware (iPod, iPad, iPhone 4, Nexus One, Acer Iconia A500, MacBook Air - quite a collection) and license fees (PureBasic, Ansca Corona), as I earned. If I work for free, the system works

Well, at least you earned yourself some nice hardware.

Good luck with your new Apps... I hope you get some more sales! 8)

I hope so, too.

This is why I see the App-Thingy with with mixed feelings (ein lachendes und ein weinendes Auge) :)
The hardware is really nice, and I could refinance it with my hobby-projects. Now for the big money!!!
