Interessting, but i dont like the article there are lots of stuff that are just not true or at least not accurate.
Like the RISC and CISC comparation. Intel CPU's are not CISC any more. Actualy they started to go away from CISC many years ago. I believe it started with the Pentium Pro. Today its a hybrid of RISC and CISC that combines best of the 2 concepts.
Also ARM includes some very unRISCy stuff, like a SIMD unit.
So the whole RISC/CISC concept is pretty much outdated and dont reflects the reality any more.

Also he claims that CPU's of different manufacturers could be compared to another and that speed was measured in Mhz. Both is wrong and was never the case. Speed was measured in FLOPS (floating point operations per second).
