For some reason when I compile/run a program, a Debugger "Master Window" type Window shows up, it lets you browse source code, open other debugging windows etc..

I have no idea how it got turned on, or how to turn it off. I've never seen it before, and I don't like it. Oddly enough I think the error section of the IDE's GUI splitter no longer echos anything. It's completely blank.

Did you turn on the compiler option "[X] Request Administrator mode for Windows Vista"?
