Hi everybody

i just need to know if this little sample will work on different computers
(And if the program didn't take a lot of process)

You can download the exe here : http://flaith.free.fr/gng/TestSpriteAnim_V7.exe

Thanks for your help :D

NB: it's just a test so when the zombie goes on the right and don't fall in water, it's not an issue

I see a zombie walking on place on the left, his twin brother coming up from the earth in various positions and always walking to the right. So I suppose it's working :)

Nice graphics !

Cpu usage less than 1%.

Windows 7 64 bit.

Works on my AMD X2 4400, with a (new) GTX460.

Incidentally, it works just fine with the GPU maxed out (I've got the CUDA cores on 100% processing) - even stretched to 1600x1200 :)

Maybe an FPS counter would be helpful?

WinXP 32bit SP3, Intel Core2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT, 1280 x 1024 @ 32bit

1% CPU at default window size, 25% CPU at full screen.

Here on Win7 it works fine and doesn't use much cpu

Works on XP Pro, Intel graphics. Animates smoothly and uses 1-4% CPU as you stretch it.

Is this a game in the making?

@all : thanks a lot for your help :D

More than 4 years ago i tried to make a Ghost'n Goblins game in Blitz (there is a download link to the source in my web site)

Now i want to try to do one in PureBasic (i only like retro games  )

@PureLeo: Weird, maybe an issue with the clearscreen, cannot test on a Win7/64 for now :?

I'm going to add a Font drawing function (with the possibility to change the colors)
Then i'll put the source here

PS: Just added a FPS counter

It runs smooth on my laptop. 35-45 fps.
AMD Athlon X2 QL-62 processor
nVidia GeForce 8200 M(256Mb pulled off of my ram)
2GB of DDR2 333mhz ram

I will test it on my craptop which has only 1.6ghz single core processor and an intel 945 graphics chip and like 100mb of ram...

Very cool game, are you going to add joystick / gamepad support? It reminds me of Castlevania where in the first level the zombies come out of the ground and swarm the player.

Yes, weird..
It wont run on my gf's notebook also, Win7 (can't say but guessing 32bit), Athlon II X2 @ 2.1ghz, ATI Radeon HD 4250

Now I'm curious to run it :)
