I tried to find the best way to draw an horizontal line under the first line menu ("File Options Help"), in order to have a standard look, like other softs.
I found :
CreateToolBar(0, WindowID())
(nothing else because I do not want icons in tool bar).
other method :
Frame3DGadget(gno_frame1.b, 0, -9, win_width.l, 11, "", 0)
(the "y" set to -9 is to climb up the line, near the first line menu "File Options Help").
I am afraid that the first method (CreateToolBar) use memory for nothing.
I am afraid that the second method would not be good in any screen resolution.
Any idea ?
Thanks a lot,
Jean.

Have you tried "Menubar()" ?
For instance, below your item, you can add a menubar() call, like :
MenuItem(#MenuBar_Form1_New,"New")
MenuBar()

Yes, I tried it. But the bar appears in the popup menu, not on the general window, under the first line "File Options Help".
I want to draw an horizontal line on the complete width of the window.
For the moment, I use the "CreateToolBar(0, WindowID())" method. The line is drawn as I want. But I suppose that CreateToolBar is not for only drawing a line. May be it use memory for nothing...
Thanks,
Jean.

Hi CONVERT,
as i understand right, you have a window and want just draw an horizontal in this window and not in the menu, right?
Just use the command:
Frame3DGadget(#id, x, y, width, 2, "", 2)"
This should solve your problem i think
PIII450, 256MB Ram, 80GB HD + 6,4 GB, RivaTNT, DirectX8.1, SB AWE64, Win2000 + all Updates...

OK, it works fine. I did not try the option "2" in the Frame3DGadget. The look is quite good. Thank you very much.
Jean.
