You may know about the story "The [wonderful] wizard of Oz".

But, did you also know there is a [historical] background to it?

I found The Secret of Oz (vimeo video) quite interesting.

(Vimeo videos do not play on my Linux browser, but I could play the mp4 file with mplayer.)

Boring, even sometimes incorrect, and putting a certain spin on things. In fact, it was outright annoying.

I read in your signature, that you are into world domination.

So it's no wonder, that

• you find it annoying,
  as it might endanger your world domination plans.
• you find it boring and find incorrect details,
  that you wouldn't want to share with us.

Actually I thought it was boring as well...

But since I am the last hereditary King of Ireland... I have no further plans for world domination... one messed up country is enough!

yes every day more 'n more youtube stuff is cancelled for german users - and even the proxys I tested won't work

btw: I saw most of that very long docu and only caught a glimpse ot the informations.
But I do think it's of major disadvantage to hand over any communities worths (common property) to privatisation - it'll always end in an abuse by sucking the ultimate belongings they can get hold of.

But then again Germany does have some whack censorship issues.

If you want to get around censorship though, forget about proxies. Look into VPN. There are several good services out there you could pay for, or your could try an open source/free solution like OpenVPN (I think its free)..

I'm lucky I get free VPN now, thanks to being a Giganews Diamond Plan member. I also use Treewalk to perform my own DNS queries, so my ISP has 0 information on where I am on the net and what I am doing.. All they see from my PC is a 256-bit SSL connection.

The problem is the numbers are just beyond imagining, but if you haven't already seen it - this WILL blow your mind - both are worth watching (not just simple currency changes)
