Tree gadget - full row select

Minor request here, but would it be possible to enable full row select on items selected in the tree gadget?
Currently with the PB tree gadget, only the tree item text itself is selected but I'd like the full row, or an option to enable, selected.
For example, this screenshot is from Thunderbird:
