Good to know
I have been following this event with great interest.. I wonder how RASHAD is doing? I'm not even certain that he is in Egypt.

Rashad is working in Saudi Arabia as far as I know.
I wish all ends today. I wish Mubarak and his regime go away.
The country is full of corruption, poverty (only big business men have all the power and wealth) and more importantly the lake of freedom.
I wish the future will be fruitful for Egyptian people.

Dear sphinx,
thanks for leaving a note to say you're back & fine.
This makes these horrible rising up against suppression more realistic than the filtered news can do.
I hope your wishes to come true and also hope the western world to have more guts to support human freedom but materialistic power.
greetings ~ Vera

Hi sphinx,
In America there is a saying, "All politics is local."
It means that most people vote based on their personal interests above any perceived national agenda.
So, on a personal level, I know very little of the politics in Egypt.
Can you describe the
new freedoms to be gained in this regime change?
For a bit of history, look to
The Who 's lyrics here...

I had been wondering how your internet connection was faring. I thought to send you a note but realized you wouldn't be able to respond until your connection was back up anyway.
I hope all is well for you. I also hope for any additional improvements there as they may be desired and needed ...

Good luck with the freedom!
It must be an incredible experience to live though both exciting and frightening, hope the violence ends soon.

Problem is that after Mubarak the Moslims want to take over the country.
If that happens you can say goodbye to Democracy and say hello to Sharia.
