A great loss...

Post by netmaestro »

Today my good friend srod let me know that he is starting a new business venture unrelated to computers and that he doesn't believe he'll be returning to coding in the foreseeable future. Srod is one of the greats, a true friend to these forums and his loss is going to be felt by all of us. Please join me in wishing him a ton of success in his new business and let's hope the magical lure of Purebasic will prove too strong for him to resist. Here's to you, srod!

Srod's going 'the way of the Sparky'?

That's the reason why I cannot leave... nobody is going to miss me...

Anyway, if you're reading this, Srod, show your face once in a while!

Wow, I'm shocked. Srod was always a great help - thanks for helping me and all the other PureBasic coders numerous times!

After sparkie another helping hand is missing here...anyway: Good luck to you and I hope you'll be checking out PureBasic every now and then. ;)
If any of you native English speakers have any suggestions for the above text, please let me know (via PM). Thanks!

Yes, a real asset to the community and a great guy.

We'll certainly miss him and his contributions.

Stop in and say "hey" from time to time.

+1 and very, very thank you for your great (and for me, indispensable) EsGRID control.

Good luck!

Srod, without your knowledge, your helpfulness, and your humor, this forum will not be the same as before. You'll be seriously missed! Thanks a lot for all you contributions.
Good luck and success for you personally, and for your new business!

Regards, Little John

Good luck, Srod. I hope you pop back from time to time!

But good luck with your new endeavour!

As a relative newcomer, I would also like to add my thanks to Srod and very best wishes for future success.

Many of my beginner's questions were answered by his previous forum posts and lots of problems solved by the excellent code samples.
