As you all might know,
Fred has already announced the 10th anniversary of the first PureBasic release for the Amiga (09.09.2000).
But there is another important release to celebrate today: The 10th anniversary of
the first Window-Release (released at
17.12.2010) !!!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
So ... from my side :
Congratulations for this successful first decade and all the best for the next years !!!

Certainly is something to celebrate, PB is a stand-out success. During the same period of time, MS have managed to turn VB from something great into something -well, lets just say less than great!
....perhaps Fred or someone could refresh Wikipedia info? It's two years out of date.........

After 10 years PB has turned into something really professional.
Beats almost all other Basic alikes, has same performance as c++.
Comes with very clean syntax plus out of the box ide, compiler,
help, forum, codesnippets, etc. etc. the list goes on. I think it
is time to give PB a worldwide marketing. With all it's potential
it is certainly worth a try.
