One of the TV show I like to watch is on Spike TV (http://www.spike.com) called "1000 ways to die". The show spotlights unusual and stupid ways people have died.

In one episode they tell the story of how the lead singer of a washed up boy band kills himself (unintentionally) by taking a swan dive off the stage. The show says the names of the people in the stories have been changed to protect the deceased and in this story I suspect they changed the name of the band too.

I'm trying to identify the band because the song they play in the story sounds interesting and I'd like to hear all of it. Here's a link to a youtube video of the story. See if you can identify the song and the band that played it. Good luck!

Actually it's rather humorous seeing the stupid things people do that ends up killing them.

I view it as a modernized version of the old Darwin awards.

Some of the deaths though are pure accidents, they get on the show because they are strange or unusual in some way.

It sounds like Nsync, so I guess the person is Justin Timberlake??

If you really want to see "stupid things people do to kill themselves" just stay in the www... it's just some clicks away! ;)

It wasn't Timberlake, this death occurred in June of 2009 but there is a video of him on a golf course that was captured earlier this year.

Another tip from the story, the band was a one-hit-wonder from the 90s. More informaiton for those that don't want to or can't see the video. This incident apparently occurred on June 23rd, 2009 in Canogo Park, California.
