Uff, spooky webcam site snapshot...

Just found a printscreen from an old webcam looking out over Hudson river NY, it was situated on 'Banzai Deck 1'
and the title just over the image says: 'Would you like to see ships, airplanes, clouds or just Hudson river live??'
However, the webcam image itself is BLACK, the camera was situated in one of the World Trade Centers, and
the date of the snapshot was 20010917, the time was 0X:33:02
The camera obviously didn't work anymore, and the company that owned it probably vanished six days before I copied
the image off the net. Spooky.

Why is it spooky?

The camera was situated in one of the World Trade Center towers, which was brought down by muslim
assholes SIX days before i found that webcam page on the net.
The page was still up, the image was black, and although that last fact was logical enough, the page
spooked me at the time.
When I saw that page, my first thought was, WTF? Why is that camera still up there?

I guess it must have felt a little weird to find your self at that site knowing what happened to the place yes.
In this case a black camera just means that the website couldn't connect to the camera, it would be spookier if it showed a nice view of the city

Of course
The people that worked at this company and hosted this cam probably went black at the same time
the cam did, that was one of the thoughts that went trough my head when I suddenly found this page.
I have been on top of one of those towers, and was truly impressed by them, and still have a copy of
each of our two top national newspapers reporting this insane incident the day after.
I'm not obsessed by this, but that was a spooky moment in time, at least to me.
