Glut is a library that includes many easy and helpfull functions for using OpenGL. OpenGL (and DirectX) is important for gamedesign, because you can do very fast grafics. InitGlut_() just initialize Glut. For example: when you want tom use (DX) keyboard or sprite commands in PB, you have to intialize it with InitKeyboard() or InitSprite() - initGlut_() is the same for Glut...

There should be an extra forum for OGL/DX/Graphicstuff...
