Anyone heard of ScienceSoft?

Post by GeoTrail »

I just got a mail from a russian lady from a company called ScienceSoft with a website located at http://scnsoft.com/
They want to meet concerning business collaboration with GeoTrail Corp.
I've done some searching and it looks legit from where I can see it. Does anyone know about this company?
If found the name of the russian lady on LinkId and the picture looks to be very similar to one of the ScienceSoft staff.

Also, they addressed me in the email with my full name. I can't remember EVER using my full name on any forums or websites...

If you go to your twitter page your name is there in a big font. But maybe you mean including the first name starting with J?

have you done a whois on your website? Or your older website? Registration info might have something!

I would still be very careful.

Get paid up front and wait until after the check clears for 30 days!!!

But I hope it makes you money!!!

Duh, I didn't think of that.
Might be fake, but as you said Rook. If I'm careful then this might actually be something to look into.
They wanted to meet in the middle of may. Would be interesting to see what their plans are.

Is your website address correct? I get this when I try to visit your site:

"HTTP 403 Forbidden
The website declined to show this webpage"

do a google search for ScienceSoft, they are all over the place.
The advantage of a 64 bit operating system over a 32 bit operating system comes down to only being twice the headache.

GeoTrail >------> Rool Software
Why the name change? (if I may ask)

So they want to meet, does this mean they want you to travel to them or can they travel to you? I once had an Indian guy who wanted to meet

THe name change? Well, the GeoTrail name I got as a nick many years ago. Actually from the army. So I just went with it.
But I have gotten mails from people that are wondering about the name, and many think it is related to something geographic stuff. So I just got sick of explaining the name.

About the meeting. They said they are coming to Bergen on the 17th of may and will be here till the 27th I think.
