Pressing MiddleMouse to enable ScrollMode is something I got really used to in the browser window,
would be nice if scrolling thru the code could work the same way.

Hi Kaeru

On my PC (WinXP 32bit) mouse wheel scroll works in the browser (FireFox) and the PB IDE without needing to click middle-mouse first.......

on my machine (XPpro), mousewheel scroll does not work at all on the IDE.
anyhow, I got used to midclick-scroll and would like to have it in the IDE aswell.

Install the correct mousedriver (this effect comes most by missing the IntelliPoint driver)

*sigh* and I was so happy even buttons 4 and 5 worked without installing this additional overhead.

anyhow, I don't want the MouseWheel to scroll my code.

I want to
- click MiddleMouse to make the Cursor change to the ScrollArrow and enable ScrollMode
- move my Mouse around to scroll around
- click MiddleMouse again to return to the Standard Caret and disable ScrollMode again

... noone using this functionality in the Browser that you don't know what I mean?

Yes I know what you mean in the browser, but I never got confused with the IDE, as I use the page up/down and the arrow keys for moving inside the IDE most of the time (mouse is too far away for my hands on the keyboard).

I'm just used to it, and it scrolls way faster than using the wheel and way way faster than the cursor keys and more comfortable than using the scrollbar.

and isn't the render area of firefox a scintilla-gadget, too?

both functions, wheel and scrollcursor, work properly in firefox, no need for the extra drivers.
