Hi.
I'm looking for someone with extensive knowledge in programming in PB for developing a fast and secure webserver with some very special features. This will for sure be a bigger project than the standart Atomic server but will definately not become as huge as the Apache project.
Would be cool if someone would be interested in something like this... We can then talk about project details and financial compensation.
Contact me either via PM or directly via email/MSN (
noktar@hotmail.com)

Well, HTTPS is also something I might need.... but didn't mean that by "secure".. but more that a lot of attention is payed to how the server reacts on things like dos/ddos attacks and other possible known threats...

Aha, yeah DoS attacks are very common.
It would be interesting to make something like this, but because of personal reasons I can't. But I hope you find someone here to help you, although I doubt many will show interest.
Maybe you could tell us more about the project?
Like how complete should the web server be?
Should it display only static content or also dynamic content (server scripts which affects the output)?
Cookies? Sessions? Uploading of files? Password authentication?
And what should it be used for? I mean, who should be interested in this product?

Well, it's a pretty huge project... Auth, dynamic content, post/get, built in parsers and template engine, ports for monitoring etc.. to much to list.
As this is an urgent thing, I had to hire a professional coder today for quiet some serious money. Would have prefered to hire a pro-coder from the PB community though.... but interest in such a project seems to be really pretty low. Posted in all big PB forums.... no interest at all.
Anyway, if someone still wants to join, just let me know... any serious help is appreciated.
