Looking for online PC game shop

I'm currently looking for an online PC game shop, that allows customers from other countries (namely Germany)
to pay via Paypal, whilst still offering the local country prices.
I just wanted to preorder Modern Warfare 2 on Amazon.co.uk, as they are offering it for just 35 pounds
(in Germany, I'd have to pay 60 euros!). But Amazon refuses to accept any other payment option than
credit cards. Do you know of any (preferably UK-located) shop within the EU?

anything else but the right link ...
http://store.steampowered.com/app/10180/
Anyway I see they adopt the loved, unofficial, milk-your-dear-European currency conversion: 59,99$ = 59,99€ so I don't think this is what you are looking for.

No, that's definitely not what I want
In the meantime, I've found some UK shops that offer MW2 at that price, but they all want me to use
a credit card on Paypal. I neither have access to a credit card nor do I want to have one, that's bullshit!

That could be a bug of PayPal Germany. I ran into that a while ago. If you tried to pay with paypal.de try paypal.com and vise versa.

What about a debit card instead? It looks like a credit card to them but it's not. It's just your own savings. Speak to your bank.

I'll try that, thanks for the tip
A debit card is one possibility, I'll have a word with my bank. I came up with another possible solution though.
Until now, everytime I paid money with Paypal, I let them get the money from my real bank account. I think
if I pay some money to Paypal upfront to get a positive credit, maybe then those shops will allow me to use
this credit instead of a credit card. What do you think?

Someone is actually going to buy the PC version of MW2 when almost all PC gamers are cancelling their orders for MW2 becuase they took out the ability to have dedicated servers?

Yep, I really liked MW1 and all the previews and videos seem to indicate that version 2
will be at least as much fun. The dedicated server issue and the need of Steam to run the game are
of course drawbacks, but that's something I can get over...
By the way, I seem to were right with the Paypal credit system. I just sent some money to Paypal
and if you can trust all the other people out there who had the same problem, I'll be able to purchase
the game. Thanks for all the other suggestions though
PS: The shop I chose is
365games.co.uk...

Just a little update on this. I got MW2 this morning. 5 days before the actual launch date
I was quite excited and really looked forward to playing this game...until I tried to install it.
It asked me to activate the serial number online but then refused to do that because the
date is too early. I hate DRM! If I wasn't that anxious to play the game, I would return it
immediately! Now I'm gonna have to wait 5 days before I can use a product I already paid for!
Well, at least I have PB 4.4b6 to play with in the meantime...

I agree with you about DRM in general.
In the specific case the launch date was well known. The people making the game expressed their will about that. You can comply and buy at that date or buy another game.
The seller shouldn't sell the game in advance, the buyer shouldn't hope to play it in advance.
All this frantic urge you see in the internet about this game is something silly anyway, IMHO.
I'll probably play it a month from now.
Bye!
