[APP] EasyCleaning

Hi,

I have just created a small application (EasyCleaning) and I thought I show it to you. It can be used to clean/delete/remove unwanted files from your computer. It is not a complete system cleanup utility. I made it to people who have absolutely no idea about computers, files, file systems, etc.

It has limited capabilities: It can remove Temporary internet files, temp files, list of recent files and cookies. It also has a feature to keep cookies containing words you add to a list.

On the Settings panel you can set which files to delete. If you move your mouse over an option a ToolTip shows you the directory from where the files will be deleted. Before cleaning your system make sure you check these data! The files are deleted one-by-one.

Currently there is no installer as it is version v0.9 Beta. It comes in a zip file, containing 4 files only. An executable file, and 3 language files. I have also set up a website which is available in Hungarian and English.

Please download and test it if you are interested.
The language files are simple text files, so if you want you can translate this app to your own language.

Download EasyCleaning 1.0

Hi,

the name of your app is confusing, because there already is a well known program called EasyCleaner.

Hi,

Little John: Thanks for the information. I will try to find a different name for this app.

One more thing I forgot to mention.
The list of excluded cookies should contain one word per line. It doesn't have to contain the full name, just a word that is in the name of the website.

Neuronic

Hi

I have changed the name of my application to EasyCleaning. I have also uploaded the final version.
The links in the first post point to the actual website and the installer of the final version. Check it if you are interested.
