Hello,

I am new to purebasic and am exploring it .

I am familiar with QB4.5 and am testing out some of the purebasic examples.

One of the command I wish to have is to pass variables into compiled purebasic programs. the Quick basic equivalent would have been

a$= command$

Where a$ is the string i wish to pass into purebasic.

Hope someone can teach me how ... a sample script would be appreciated.

Further , I wish to purchase a licence online. Can someone highlight to me a trusted purebasic site?

Thanks
Alan

use

Code: Select all

programparameter()
search for it in help, its a bit more flexible than the old command$
