Hi, I'm a newby, and I would like to purchase PureBasic.

My question is, to the others that have already purchased it, does
it comes with a manual or some kind of documentation ?

Thanks for attention,
Sergio.

Hi Sergio

At the moment PB is sent via email and it's a simple case of unzipping the attached file to a directory of your choice. There are no print-based manuals yet but the HTML help provided is very good and can be printed.

Cheers

Thanks StephenWhite for reply.

Another question...

Does PureBasic use DirectX, or it runs also without that library ?

If it uses DirectX, is the DirectX version 7 compatable with it ?

Thanks again,
Sergio.

PureBasic can use DirectX. It is possible to code stuff that don't use Direct X. (Apps for example) and the version it uses is Version 7 (to the best of my knowledge).
