Major forum bug ?

The forum didn't repond, so I hit submit twice, and voila, I got two posts.

Strange: The delete button was only available on the FIRST one.

I hit F5 and the delete button moved to my second post.

I tried to delete the duplicate post, but the forum didn't respond, so again I hit it twice... :D

I now got the message: "You can only delete your own posts." That's what I tried to do, duh!

I refreshed the topic, but it looks like i deleted the whole thing!

Edit: I refreshed the forum index several times, and it was still gone, so I wrote this. Then, when I posted this, the offending topic came back from the grave. This can be deleted...

Too much caffeine perhaps?

Take a breath between each mouse click :)

Could be the current forums conflict (.com vs .fr) going on, if you log into the .com url to the forum and possibly using certain features of the forum it may redirect to .fr instead of .com, and due to the browser not allowing cross domain cookies you are essentially logged out on the other domain.

It gets even weirder if you have automatic login enabled, since as far as the browser (cookies) are concerned you are logged into two different forums at the same time.

Even forums with a single domain might have this issue if it's setup wrong,
in those cases it's due to people forgetting that www.example.com and .example.com makes cookies behave differently. The latter means main domain and any subdomain, while the former means only the www subdomain.
